SF Jewish Scoop is a simple weekly roundup of Jewish life in San Francisco featuring Shabbat dinners, holidays, learning, gatherings, and moments worth showing up for.

Grounded in tradition, community, and the social moments that bring people together, shared openly and without gatekeeping.

I grew up in San Francisco and spent nearly three years living and learning in Israel, and almost five years in New York… places where Jewish life is vibrant, visible, and easy to step into.

Now I’m back in SF, and something feels different… in a good way.

There’s more curiosity. More openness. More people looking for tradition and connection, without needing it to look one specific way.

The problem? The information is scattered.

I kept sending links to friends, walking across the city to different communities, and hearing about great things only after they’d already happened.

So I built this.
